You mention the weak sisters in the A-10. You don't mention: Temple, Richmond, GW, U Mass, St. Josephs, and Dayton, all have had excellent teams in the last five years. BTW, there are also weak sisters in the ACC: BCU, Virginia. The A-10 is a very strong conference. Not as strong as the ACC but strong. Also, remember the only reason UNCC is in the A-10 is that the ACC is run by greedy bastards who had to expand, causing a cascade effect that destroyed the very powerful Conference USA and irreparably damaged the Charlotte program. Imagine if we were still playing Cincy, Louisville, DePaul, Marquette, and Memphis. And you wonder why I hate the ACC. The A-10 has a team in the Sweet 16, and they are a perennial power: XAVIER. That's the same number of teams in the Sweet 16 as the ACC. And if Xavier made it to the final four, I, for one, would not be surprised. They can light it up. This year the A-10 may well have been the most competitive conference in college basketball.
