49ers-Panthers football tailgate

The 49ers will host a tailgate party before most Panthers home games this season, beginning Sunday with their home-opener against Green Bay.

The tailgate, which will be feature coach Brad Lambert and his staff, runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will be held in The Observer's lower parking lot on the corner of South Mint and West Stonewall streets. Just look for the green Charlotte 49ers tent.

Available at the tailgate, along with the chance to meet the coaches and Norm the Niner: schedule posters, seat license information, 49ers koozies, cornhole games and chances to win T-shirts.

@ 1:12. Let me guess, you barely graduated HS and love "your" tar heels.

Why are you posting online anyway? Your shift at Wal Mart begins at 1:30. Take a shower and get to work.

LOL at UNC fans. The ones that never attended school there are so paranoid of getting no respect because of their stupidity.

Apparently you do 6:07 douchebag.....

There is only one UNC.

GO UNC49ers

Why are you stupid or ignorant or uneducated if you did not go to the scholarly giant that is UNCC? I am very interested in learning more about this intriguing perspective (obviously because I am stupid because I did not go to UNCC or UNC)!

Will they be selling girl scout cookies as well? Maybe even face painting?!

Anonymous said...

Ha! No face painting or cookies, but according to the "Unc 49ers" creep, we should be having whine and cheese because; you know, we should be just like them!

ahahahaha!

Are these cheap shots agains the 49ers coming straight from the Sports Editor again? The Niner soccer team is ranked in the top 15 in the nation and I'm trying to understand why I have read about every team in the state EXCEPT the local team that is ranked.

Some things never change. Whatever it takes to keep the Niner successes from the public.

No. 1 - Nobody outside of it's pathetic alumni base gives a damn about UNCC...if they even support that commuter school.

No. 2 - Women's Soccer.

No. 3 - Atlantic 10.

No. 4 - Not a realistic national contender.

No. 5 - UNCC.

In other news, anything else that is relevant!

Note to UNCC fans: Stop referring to UNC as UNCCH. It's not clever.

For the slow to catch on (that's YOU 9:25) The system is UNC. The school is UNC-CH. They chose to continue to refer to their athletics as UNC. That is fine. We chose to refer to our athletics as Charlotte. That is also fine. So, unless you are a hypocrite, stop referring to us as UNCC. It isn't clever.

I love how all these fans of other schools come on here to tell us Niners we don't matter. Quit clicking on 49er related links then. Otherwise you contradict your own argument.

Love that all of these folks post Anonymously.

UNCC is still moving forward with football? I'm from Charlotte and had no idea. And no, I am not a fan of Chapel Hill.

You must have managed not to read the Observer sports page the last two years. Nothing wrong with that.

I saw the tailgate photos on-line. Looks like it was a big-time and the folks who are 49ers fans enjoyed the opportunity.

I remember my first tailgate...

If you remember a tailgate - youre not doing it right.

Because if you don't remember, it's because you drank so much! YEAAAH! AMERICA!

LOL. Good one.
