The Charlotte 49ers will face St. Bonaventure on Friday in a first-round Women's National Invitational Tournament. It is the 12th consecutive season Charlotte has made the postseason, 10 of them in the WNIT.
The 49ers (15-15) lost in the second round of the Conference USA tournament to Louisiana Tech last week. The Bonnies (23-10) fell to Fordham 73-34 in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
