The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's indoor track and field teams swept the 2009 Atlantic 10 championships on Saturday at Rhode Island. It's the fourth consecutive title for Charlotte's women's team, while the men's team won its third title in three years.
Charlotte also took home individual good as sophomore Darius Law was named the men’s track performer of the year, while freshman Sam Jordan was named the men’s rookie of the year. Coach Bob Olesen was named the men’s coach of the year.

This program was not supposed to dominate the A-10 and it is doing so. Good for them. All the sports are doing well except men's hoops and volleyball. I hope that changes. Soon.
