Jamison doubtful for Saturday

INJURY UPDATE: The X-rays taken of Jerell Jamison after Thursday night’s game showed he does not have a fracture of his left foot, but rather a mid-foot sprain. He remains doubtful, however, to play in Saturday’s game with St. Bonaventure. He did not participate in practice Friday.
ONLY A TWO?: Upon further review – and brought to light during replays on ESPN of the finish of Thursday night’s loss to George Washington – it appears De’Angelo Alexander might have had a foot touch the line on his last-second 3-pointer. So if it was good, it might have only sent the game into overtime rather than handed the 49ers the win. A referee did raise his hand for a 3-pointer, but it could have easily been reviewed after the play.
CLIMBING THE CHARTS: Leemire Goldwire needs five 3-pointers to tie Brendan Plavich (211) for fifth all-time with the 49ers. Goldwire is the sixth player in school history to pass the 200 mark.

It's good to hear that Jamison did not fracture his foot. We'll need him during the A-10 Tournament.

I hope they're smart enough to sit him during St. Bonaventure. I'd like to see players like JJ and EJ on the bench as someone like Booker gets a load of playing experience to build upon for the coming off-season. This is a great time to audition the youngsters - St. Bonaventure has something to play for today as they are fighting for an A-10 tournament berth, while Charlotte is just finishing out the regular season.

I'd feel worse if he won the game with our Seniors than if we lost the game with our youngsters getting the chance to prove themselves.

Survivor, that is one of the most idiotic comments I've ever seen on a BLOG. It's senior day. Most of these guys will never suit up again for more that a rec league game (beyond the conference tourney) and you want to give the youth a chance?
