Awesome baby!We got lucky that their guy fumbled the ball out of bounds! He was wide open!!What a great shot over the stretched out arm of the defender!!

GO 49ers!

terrible defense by lasalle. they deserved to lose that game.

notice also--and lasalle may want to practice this--that if the guard had lobbed the ball to the guy under the basket instead of a brisk pass, it would have been an easy two and "ballgame."

Don't discount Spears helping to disrupt that pass inside.

This is all fine and dandy, but this 49er team needs to keep winning for 2 big reasons.

1. To become the first Charlotte team to make the NCAA tournament in the A-10.

2. To keep Lutz's job secure. If the 49ers miss the tournament, they better get at least 20 wins to convince Rose that Lutz's effort is good despite what the tournament committee decides. Thus a bigger reason to expand the tournament field to 128.

Yeah because 14-5 with 11 games left after going 11-20 all of last season shows no improvement. Idiots.

Improvement is not the issue. But, good improvement is. Yeah, 11-20 to 14-17 is improvement, but not good improvement. What I'm saying is, in the world of sports, you can't nothing for granite. Yes, 14-5 is a good record at this point, but you can't assume that the 49ers are going into the NCAA tournament, much less achieve a 20 win season. Which Rose will consider when its time to keep Lutz on board or not. Lets hope the 49ers will keep this level of play without a late season collaspe.

Yeah they're going to lose every remaining game. Idiot.
