The 49ers and Clemson are tied 1-1 at halftime of their men's soccer game at TransAmerica Field.
Senior Andres Cuero scored Charlotte's goal at 22:15 on a nice header off a free kick by Donnie Smith. Cuero flicked it on past Tigers goalkeeper Cody Mizell.
Clemson had taken a 1-0 lead at 18:30 on a 15-yard volley by Jack Metcalf after Charlotte failed to clear a corner kick.
Charlotte outshot Clemson 16-3 in the half.

We seem to take many more shots than our opposition, but have trouble scoring. Are we still playing fast-break soccer?
