According to the Mountaineers Rivals page, he received an offer from Appalachian State on Black Saturday (Oct. 29th). Along with Capel, a previous ASU commitment, it's nice to see that we are signing talent on par with the traditional FCS powers!

Welcome Prince! Go Niners!

These are the types of recruits UNCC gets excited about? What a joke! Poor kid. Lol...

Did not know UNCC had a football team. Good to know. Hopefully, they'll get a basketball team in the future....Lol....

Too ashamed and spineless to post a name, the great unwashed ignorant demean a young man they don't know and an athletic program they don't understand. Keep it up, mouthbreathers. Karma is Hell.

Congrats Prince! Your hardwork paid off (classroom and the field). Keep working hard and will see you competing with the big boys soon enough!!!

what a joke.

All you numbskulls that comment on every 49er football post with "what a joke" - don't leave us hanging, tell us what the joke is!

But I'm sure that's asking too much. Y'all are probably a bunch of people who managed to not graduate from CPCC but are fans of ACC football schools (speaking of jokes, every ACC football team is a complete joke except Va Tech & FSU), and you are using this forum to air your frustrations about having your dreams dashed of playing football for your favorite school - which you think you were good enough to do because you beat your dad and uncles at touch football in the back yard at Thanksgiving - and insulting the Charlotte 49ers and every player in every sport that wears their uniforms makes you feel better about yourself. I feel sorry for you. See a doctor. Paxil, Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac - ask for one.

8/31/13 can't get here fast enough. GO NINERS!!!!!!!!

Happy to have you as a 49er...another solid addition to a very solid, athletically and personally, class... great job coaches!

Wait a second, someone actually came to Niner blog to make fun of a team that hasn't even played a game yet and ended with "Go Duke"? You do realize that Duke hasn't had a winning football season since 1994, right? Way to look like a Class A idiot.

And to the rest of the trolls with your brilliant Gaston College and CPCC wisecracks, keep it up while you can, because stealing players from App can only be a good sign of things to come for this team, so I hope you enjoy crow.

Go Niners!!

the app st rejects that more than likely wouldn't have played a down? yeah, UNCc is really making waves in the nc recruiting game...

Anonymous said...

Please explain how someone who received an offer to App is an App reject. Because when a school recruits a player, their intention is to waste a scholarship on someone who will never step foot on the field? Please go look like an idiot in articles about your loser team instead of wasting space here, clown.

Recruits like this are great for developing long term retention and a solid APR reputation. However, the elephant in the room is how many JUCO players with questionable academic and moral will Charlotte require to be even remotely competitive in its first two seasons.

Senior class president, a member of the National Honor Society, and an All-ME-GA 7 conference player.

If he never steps on the field he is a better student/athlete than what Chapel Hill has been suiting up. How little you must be to not be able to get behind the local team.

this is someone's son. and this kid just made one of the biggest and most exciting decisions of his life.

no matter how you feel or don't feel about charlotte, think about who may be reading this. it's not very christian and you know what you're saying is hurtful. clean it up.

West Meck is really proud of you Prince - great decision, you'll get to be part of the first 49ers squad! Keep doing it in the classroom too - hopefully it will be easier than Algebra 2 (don't count on it though!)
