Get an early look at fall sports teams

The regular-season is still a week away for Charlotte's soccer and volleyball teams, but all three squads are in preseason action this weekend.

The men's soccer team plays Coastal Carolina in an exhibition at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Transamerica Field. The women's team faces Pfeiffer at 7 p.m. on Saturday, also at the soccer stadium.

The volleyball team plays its Alumni Match on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Halton Arena.

Regular-season openers:

Men's soccer: Sept. 1 at UNC Greensboro.
Women's soccer: Aug. 27 vs. Davidson.
Volleyball: Aug. 27 at East Carolina.
Men's/women's cross country: Sept. 4, at USC Upstate Eyeopener
