New 49ers women's basketball coach Cara Consuegra has retained assistant Sabrina Gregory on the team's coaching staff. Eric McCombs, the team's director of basketball operations, will also stay on.
Another Charlotte assistant, Angela Ortega, joined former coach Karen Aston at North Texas. Ken Griffin didn't go with Aston to North Texas and wasn't retained by Consuegra.

This is great news for the team. They won 27 games last year and keeping key coaches will smooth the transition.
Good move by Cara. Sabrina is "good people".
