Why do we play Elon on November 51st?
Atlantic 10 schedule was more interesting than this.
So the Charlotte 49ers will play Elon on November 51st.....interesting.
Mark this moment, Football has officially ruined our basketball program. This schedule is pathetic, CUSA teams are about as interesting as a turd on the sidewalk.
Kstate, Gtech, Davidson
Other than that what is there to see?
I sincerely hope when my renewal form arrives this week the ticket prices have been adjusted to reflect the quality of opponents being brought to Halton Arena.
I mean wasn't UPSTATE a Exhibition game a few years ago???????
You could go undefeated in the regular season and still not make the NCAA Tourney with this weak schedule.
Charlotte Has a Basket Ball team??
I am betting a turd on the sidewalk gets more attention.
I'm a top high school recruit and can't wait to sign with the Niners. We get to play on the big stage against ELON and UPSTATE. COMON MAN! One must be kidding.
For the people bashing the basketball schedule, (and as I recall UNC Charlotte was not very successful), Xavier, Butler, Dayton and Saint Louis all left for the new basketball only Big East.
As for success, it would be up to Charlotte to scheduled meat & potato non-conference games instead of cream puffs. But as it stands, this is a conference that could get 2+1 into the NCAA tournament, and it is a league Charlotte could dominate.
If you do not think being a bif fish in a small pond is nto a big deal, consider that Davidson and C of Charleston are more respected, out of the SOCON, than Charlotte.
to 3:01 anonymous. Dang, you're right! What were we thinking??? That's an awesome schedule!
