The 49ers' football game at Coastal Carolina on Nov. 2 will be televised by WCCB (channel 18).
WCCB has been showing all 49ers home games. The Coastal game (with a 3 p.m. kickoff) will also be televised on WFXB in Florence-Myrtle Beach and WOLO in Columbia.
This will be the seventh game to be televised by WCCB (in addition to one on ESPN3 at Presbyterian). The 49ers have averaged a 2.9 household rating on WCCB, with an average audience of more than 33,000 homes.

Now, if they could use real, quality equipment. There have been technical issues and poor video quality on every single game they've televised to date! What are they using? Cell phone cameras?
UNCC signed a contract with the Fox affiliate and ended up with the CW and it SHOWS!
Charlotte Business Journal reports that 49ers regularly beat UNC-CH head to head in tv ratings.
GO NINERS!
Wrong John. The contract was signed after WCCB was already a CW station.
Since John is an expert maybe he should go show WCCBCHARLOTTE what to do better...
I for one am glad ch18 is putting the games on Tv, otherwise a lot is us would not get to see them. Those that don't like what they see need to get a life!
Thanks WCCB for your broadcasts of the HOMETOWN University's football games. More local media outlets should be so supportive. As for the technical issues, they're negligible, except for those that love to troll here and criticize EVERYTHING associated with our school. To them I say again, cry trolls, cry. GO NINERS!!
6 in a row by the bandwagon hick pedophile welfare bum cline waterboy who never went to college and claims to be a "charlotte native". he never been outside the rural part of his county. we stuffed his zitface down toilets in school and slapped his runt ass around. no bigger fuck up than cline who still molests black kids we hear. they gonna kill him.
real deal asu 03
GO 'NEERS 3 TIME NCAA CHAMPS
Go 49ers!!!!!!!!
@7:01... who's cline?
How many other first year start up programs have all their home games and now an away game televised? I say great job so far. Yes, the quality isn't the best, but that will improve as time goes on.
GO NINERS!!
No one wants to see unc concord in person that's for sure so why are they putting them on TV. If their 300-400 fans do go they certainly leave at 1/2 time.
It makes no sense
No one wants to be friends with the guy who calls us "unc concord" in real life that's for sure so why does he post here. Of the 2 or 3 people that pretend to be his friend in chatrooms they certainly stop talking to him after he uses the same schick over and over again.
That makes plenty of sense actually.
I agree with "unc concord" guy. Why is it that your fans are not going to the game? And from the looks of it your fans leave a half time?
From what I have heard from a few people that have gone is that its a real sterile environment and not very fun.
Yet thousands of people go... and thousands come back every week... kind of like your moms bedroom. They must be doing something fun.
This promises to be another great high school football game.
It will be interesting how carried away the whippin will get.
With the UNCP loss in mind Coastal might put up 70.....
