Gentile, who played at Ardrey Kell High, is tied for 10th
on the 49ers career scoring list with 27 goals. Gentile’s most productive
goal-scoring year was 2011 when he scored 10 times on his way to national
freshman player-of-the year honors. He was the Atlantic 10’s rookie of the year
as well as an all-Atlantic 10 second-team player as a sophomore. He made
first-team all-Conference USA
