Handra had three goals and an assist in the two wins. She is tied with fellow Charlotte freshman Oni Bernard for fifth in the A-10 with seven goals.

--- The Charlotte 49ers' men's and women's indoor track and field teams have been picked by conference coaches to win the league this season. Both teams have won the A-10 indoor title the past three seasons.

--- The Charlotte 49ers will host an uptown basketball tip-off on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Founder's Hall in downtown Charlotte. The yearly events celebrate the upcoming basketball season.
