The Florida State League recently announced its All-Star rosters and the Fort Myers Miracle placed seven players on the team, including former Charlotte 49ers standout Spencer Steedley.
Steedley, a Minnesota Twins prospect, has been very impressive this season. The 24-year-old southpaw is 3-0 with a 0.74 ERA. The former 49ers starter has a 25:7 strikeout to walk ratio and has a 1.07 WHIP in 24 1/3 innings pitched this season.
A report by the Bleacher Report said Steedley likely will be promoted after the All-Star game. The game will be held at Hammond Stadium, home of the Fort Myers Miracle on June 20.
