Charlotte 49ers senior center Phil Jones shared the team high, scoring 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field as the Virgin Islands national team lost to Puerto Rico on Thursday in the FIBA Americas Championship.
Jones also had seven rebounds in 23 minutes of play. The Virgin Islands (0-2) faces Canada on Friday afternoon.
