Charlotte 49ers senior center Phil Jones scored six points and had four rebounds and a block in his debut with the Virgin Islands national team at the FIBA Americas Championship in San Juan.
Uruguay topped the Virgin Islands, 88-62, in the first game of the FIBA Americas Championship at Roberto Clemente Coliseum in Puerto Rico. Jones saw 18 minutes of playing time.
