How does a kid work his tail off for 4 years, gain a fifth year to play 4 and then not do enough to complete his senior year? Come on Big Phil. Why? How tough is it to maintain 12 hours of academic work?
Man, it is tough being a fan of this program.

As a UNCC alum and Niner fan, I'm disappointed. But, any rules that reinforce the 'student' part of being a 'student-athlete' can only be a good thing. Admittedly, it ain't Duke...so being a good player and performing to an academic minimum standard shouldn't be too much to ask.

Once again we are dropping the ball left and right. It's hard as a former player to keep hearing bad things happen to the program we help build. It's definitely time for some more changes!

I think we're seeing these "changes" happening right before us. Some of these guys came to play for Bobby and just aren't responding to Alan. That's fine, once Alan gets more of his players in thing will settle down. Bottom line, classwork before sports.

why is it we always get the stupid black guys on our team?
