Charlotte 49ers junior Jake Deaton closed out his NCAA East preliminary meet in Bloomington, Ind., in Bloomington, Ind., by advancing to the men's discus NCAA outdoor track and field championships' finals.
Senior Darius Law pulled up in the 200 meters with a tight hamstring, but will be fine for the 400 meters at the finals. Senior Keara Thomas qualified for the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday.

What do you expect? A slideshow like they have for the other conference? Oh, that's right, it's the CHARLOTTE Observer.
Charlotte wins the A 10 Baseball Tourney in a 3 game sweep, you say?! They clinched a berth in the NCAA tourney next week, you say?! The O doesn't give it coverage?! Yep. That sounds about right.

There was coverage all three days. There was a front page article in yesterday's paper. We didn't get a slid show, but there was coverage.
It could be better or bigger or both. It has beeen worse.
