49ers' Chris Braswell out eight weeks

Charlotte 49ers senior center Chris Braswell has suffered a broken bone in his foot that will require surgery. Braswell, the 49ers leading returning scorer and rebounder, broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will be out approximately 8 weeks.

Whens football start?

Chasing away KJ will come back to haunt us if Braswell has trouble healing. Coach should have kept him on the team.

This blog is the only place I see this news. Why does the Observer constantly go out of their way to keep news about the local team from the locals? It is no wonder most of the 95,000 UNCC grads living in the Charlotte Metro area no longer subscribe to the Observer. I understand most State fans and South Carolina fans have also stopped reading it because of the favortism shown to UNC-chapel hill but the paper. The Observer acts like they can care less if they sell papers or not.

At what point does UNCC get smart and rehire Lutz as AD/Basketball Coach?

Anonymous said...

^^^^
Riiight! Lutz would never let one on his players be injured.

No need to rehire Lutz. Already on the payroll.

As long as Braswell is back in time for our big game against UNC Asheville, we should be okay.

Niner Green Jacket supporter says

Anon 12:20, I thought everyone had abandoned the ninernation board. I just checked it out and it looks like I was almost correct. That's what happens when moderators let their ego take precedence over Niner Athletics. That site has gone to the can in the past 2 or 3 years.

Now we can see how Major does with just his players. Isn't that what you guys wanted all along?

Major is such a good coach he can win without Braswell. Cows can fly too.

No Ninnernation.net is not dead.

And 49ergreen is pretty good as well.

Also Ninerreport.com has some good stuff.

Where can I post an article about the upcoming Kelvin Price fight without the usual nonsense/complaints of having their time wasted on Lutz-era thugs?

The ninernation board may not be dead but it is very ill. It is nothing like it used to be. Disagree with the wrong moderator and you are in so much trouble that he may even resort to spreading slanderous lies about you.

NA banned me from whinernation.net!

That place sucks! TROLLS RULE!!

Ninernation was a rocking place back in the day. Not anymore. Those days are long gone. Some of the trolls should have been banned. Unfortunately, some of our longtime and most adamant fans were also shown the door by either being banned or having their privilege to post comments revoked. One mod in particular has a difficult time when people do not listen to his commands.
