Sajevic is A-10's golf rookie of the week

Charlotte 49ers freshman Andy Sajevic was named the Atlantic 10 men's golf rookie of the week for the week ending Sept. 20.

Sajevic shot three-under par over the final two rounds to lead the 49ers to a fourth-place finish at Minnesota's Gopher Invitational to open the season.

Making his college debut, the freshman from Fremont, Neb., shot one-under par 215 to place fourth individually in the 72-player field. He carded two-under par 70 and one-under par 71 in the final two rounds to earn a spot in the top five.
