A-10 represented in preseason basketball poll

The preseason college basketball polls are starting to materialize already. Blue Ribbon's Men's College Basketball Preseason Top 25 was released this week.

Dayton is the lone representative in the poll from the Atlantic 10 Conference, ranked 19th. The Flyers have four returning starters back from last year's 27-8 squad that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Two of the Charlotte 49ers' scheduled nonconference opponents this season - Tennessee and Georgia Tech - are also ranked, 10th and 13th respectively.

Beating 3+ ranked opponents would be a nice way to get this season underway...

I believe that Wake will surprise some people this year. They have a boatload of talent. Look for them to be ranked by mid-December.

St Bonaventure will be ranked in the top 25 before the season is over.
