Duquesne used a balanced scoring attack to beat Massachusetts 72-51 Friday night in the first round of the Atlantic 10 women's tournament at Halton Arena and set up a rematch with the Charlotte 49ers.
The Dukes (20-10), the sixth seed, will meet No. 3 seed Charlotte (20-8) at 8 p.m. Saturday in the tournament quarterfinals. Charlotte defeated the Dukes 83-78 earlier this season.
Friday night, Duquesne had four players in double figures, led by Keri Pryor's 16 points. Sakera Young scored 16 to lead the Minutemen (12-18).
