More A-10 tournament scenarios

Charlotte's loss Tuesday night to Richmond kept the possibility alive the 49ers could be left out of next week's Atlantic 10 Conference tournament in Atlantic City, N.J. However, of the 16 remaining scenarios that can play out this week, Charlotte would still get in on 15 of them, thus it is more than likely Charlotte will make the tournament. The best the 49ers can do now is a 10th seed and the worst is 12th.

Regardless of Charlotte's game Saturday at St. Bonaventure, the 49ers get in if Massachusetts beats George Washington tonight. The only scenario in which Charlotte doesn't make the tournament is if G.W. wins its final two games against UMass and Temple, UMass wins at Rhode Island AND Charlotte loses Saturday at St. Bonaventure.

Should Charlotte make the A-10 tournament, it's first game would be next Wednesday at either 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 9 p.m., depending on whether it is the 10th, 11th or 12th seed.

Better if they don't go, playing like that they are going to be crushed in the first half of the first game!

Go niners!

THE 49ERS BETTER WIN AGAINST ST. BONAVENTURE, IF LUTZ WANTS TO KEEP HIS JOB. GOING TO 11-19 IS NOWHERE NEAR .500 AND JUDY ROSE NEEDS TO DIMISS LUTZ IF HE CAN'T GET THE WINNING PERCENTAGE TO 40%. THIS PROGRAM HAS NEVER BEEN THIS BAD IN RECENT YEARS AND THIS TEAM CAN'T COMPETE ON THE ROAD. IF THEY CAN WIN AT LEAST ANOTHER GAME, FINE KEEP HIM. BUT IF THIS TEAM CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE POST SEASON NEXT YEAR, HE NEED TO RESIGN. 4 YEARS AND NO NCAA APPEARENCE IS BACKSLIDING FOR THIS PROGRAM
