The top seed Xavier Musketeers, ranked 16th in the country, were eliminated by Dayton 63-60 Saturday in overtime in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 women's tournament at Halton Arena.
Dayton (20-12), the tournament's eighth seed, will face fourth seed Richmond (22-8) at noon Sunday in the tournament semifinals.
Xavier (25-6) will have to wait out an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore guard Special Jennings led the Musketeers with 17 points.
The Flyers were led by freshman De'Sarae Chambers, who scored a career-high 19 points, including four 3-pointers.
